The founding member of The Chainsmokers, Alex Pall has recently been explaining why he believes the electronic dance music sector has always lacked a creative leader until the arrival of his own duo, The Chainsmokers. Alex Pall points to the fact too many DJ’s are willing to simply stand in the background through much of the creative process and during performances when a guest vocalist will take center stage as the DJ stands in the background behind a booth.
